She made it mandatory that he join the church choir at St. Matthias CACN, Okrika. And while young Solomon didn’t get to choose, he discovered something along the way: a deep and personal love for the piano.
By age 12, he was not only singing in the choir but also learning and falling in love with music’s complexity through the keys. What started as a “must-do” became a quiet passion.
In 2016, when he lost his mother, music became more than a talent — it became his anchor. In grief, he found comfort in learning the trumpet and violin, using music as a language his heart could speak when words failed.l Directing, Composition (western/African).
